New artwork at Atlantic Terminal in Brooklyn. This piece “BKLYN” is an abstract depiction of Brooklyn. I pushed my style and experimented with this one. within the letter shapes of the “B” “K” “L” “Y” “N” I incorporated Brooklyn landmarks and local elements in Brooklyn. Things like bodegas, to Barclay Center, to the Brooklyn Bridge, to the Grand Army Plaza Arch, industrial water towers, street signs, etc. Incorporating them into the more abstract design, along with collage street poster textures that are in a lot of my artwork.
